After 25 years of marketing Schreiner’s Herbal Solution, we are still the same family-owned and operated business. The label has evolved over the years, but the product remains the same. Even some of our employees remain the same; Jose, our Production Manager, has been with us for twenty years and Janine, our Office Manager, has been with us for fifteen years.
As a family, we all enjoy trail riding and horse camping in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood National Forest areas. And yes, we are related to the incredible Schreiner Farms, home to numerous exotic animals, from Alpaca to Zebra.
Meet the Schreiners
I have always been horse crazy, ever since we moved out into the country when I was five years old. But I never understood why I couldn’t have a horse, even though we lived on 5 acres. From stick horses to riding cows, I was meant to ride a horse so I begged, borrowed and found horses to ride for the next several years. It wasn’t until I was 30 years old and met my husband Jeff, that I finally purchased my first horse, a beautiful Arabian mare named LaBelle. I still own her daughter, Bint LaBelle, who is now 30 years old and lives in peaceful retirement with us.
It is truly a powerful and beautiful thing, this love between a girl and her horse. From that love we grew a business which bears our name. We are not a big company and we like it that way. We want to spend time outdoors, and not be tied to a desk and for over 25 years we have managed to balance work and play.
Christie & Goldie
Like Christie, I grew up on a small farm in Eastern Washington. My early days were spent riding Sparky through the orchards until college and the Navy took me away from that simple life. Once Christie and I met, we knew we wanted out of corporate life and urban living so we sold our business and moved as far as we could away from the city.
The first thing Christie and I did was buy horses, jeans and boots, even before we bought a ranch. But with all the animals, came problems. We were 50 miles from the nearest veterinarian in a remote part of Eastern Oregon so we used our time to study and apply herbal remedies on the horses, pigs, chickens, cows, dogs and kids. It was here, at The Bearwallow Ranch, that we developed our Schreiner’s Original Formula in 1980.
In 1983 we moved to the family ranch in Washington, called Schreiner Farms, where we used and proved our Herbal Solution. Years went by until one day we realized that we had something unique to the market place. In 1988 we turned our focus to marketing Schreiner’s and the rest is history.

Zack Schreiner, Vice President
Hi, I’m Zack Schreiner and I grew up playing under my Papa’s desk. Some of you probably remember hearing little kid noises in the background when you called because they allowed children to come to work with their parents, and they still do. I was born at Schreiner Farms and bucked off my first horse at the age of 3, much to the horror of everyone.
Zack & Brody
I love the outdoors and I love this family business and all that it represents and look forward to continuing in the footsteps of my grandparents, Jeffrey and Christie Schreiner.
Ruger Schreiner, Chief Security Officer
We are huge fans of animal shelters and adopting your next best pet! It was love at first sight for us the day we visited our local Home At Last. Ruger has been our best dog ever and we believe it is due in part to the deep connection made when a pet – or anyone for that matter – is rescued. We support many rescue organizations all over the country.
We are grateful for these good years of hard work, great friendships, and a certain peace of mind that comes from doing the thing you are meant to do. And we appreciate the thousands of calls, cards and letters and emails we have received attesting to the benefits of using our product. Certainly without your positive feedback we would not still be here today.
Thank you for your business.
